The first paragraph is the introduction, should not be a long paragraph. On the second, is the one which you should concentrate, you have to write about what is on the introduction with more details and write more sentences and make a big paragraph, minimum should have 5 sentences or more, depending on what your teacher is asking you. On the last paragraph, you write your conclusion, could be small or big paragraph, depending on what you think about the topic.

The fist one is a introduction, a brief summary of everything

The second is where you put more details

The last one your conclusion

This essay sounds like an exercise in self esteem, modesty, and how to structure, build on and communicate your thoughts. The topic was chosen because it’s something you can write from the heart, something that you know, but may have to do a little soul searching to answer. Good topic. This will be easy….

First think of 4 things that relate to your “smartness”. Like, how do you define smart, your education, situations when you’ve used your intellect (asking for help, good test results, using your knowledge to help others), and what you want to learn in the future. Or take a comparison approach… how do you compare your “smartness” to people your age, people you want to be like in your future, and how you feel about who you are now.

Got your 4 topics? Now just start writing. Take the first topic, and chat away. Continue with each. Now, edit each to be about 7 sentences, but I don’t think you need to be exact. Just communicate the thought completely. A start, middle and end to the thought. Make sense?

Step back and think of a common thread…like I’ve learned a lot through the years, and know there’s much more to learn. Being smart means applying yourself and being as prepared as possible. ….Think about what you said in the 4 topics and summarize it. (This is your last paragraph)

Now create the intro paragraph. The first sentence could be catchy…I’m smart, but not smart enough. or Being a smart person doesn’t mean being a know it all. Now write a sentence that sums up your 4 topics. Write another about how you chose these topics. Ad lib until you have about 7 sentences. I think this is the hardest paragraph, but will come easily if you do it last.

Hope this helps you, short of writing it for you. Now that wouldn’t be very smart!!! =) This is just a fast crash course in essay writing, and without the benefit of 2-way communication on your objectives. Good luck and get busy!

Your post barely makes sense … especially considering your “question” so it doesn’t behoove you to threaten to report someone who “smarts” off back at you!

Presumably you are to write about two topics. Each should have three paragraphs of seven sentences each. Is this the case?

If so, here’s how to do it.

1. Pick your topics. It’s easier to pick something you know about. Or, perhaps your teacher assigned specific topics and you didn’t say.

2. Make a list of several important facts about each topic. It helps if you have a good source if you are writing a factual piece and not an opinion piece.

3. Write your introduction. Are your two topics supposed to be related to each other? If so, you need to tie them together in your intro.

4. Write your body paragraphs, using the notes you made earlier.

5. Do your conclusion/summary by wrapping up your points concisely.

Hope this helps:

Your teacher has given you a problem to start with so, you are seeking help with it.

A student who needs help with school work, will find it very difficult to understand.

Next time give an example of what you are asking us to do because, it would be much easier to answer your question.

Getting the work done by Monday should be very easy if, you do it now.

All you need to do is type the work that you have been set by the teacher and print it, on clean paper such as an A4 size sheet of paper.

Monday morning you will be very happy when you get to school, with your finished work.

Your teacher will give you merits for this piece of work which will make you very happy.

Post the statement and the questions and my daughters and I will help. Or send it to me email “[email protected].” One of my daughters is in 8th and one is in 9th and an English whiz kid.

A 6 paragraph 7 sentence is 6 paragraphs with 7 sentences each paragraph. 42 sentences.

The style is what I worry about here. You don’t say but there are two subjects. Is it a compare/contrast paper or a general theme requiring you to pick the theme that unifies the two subjects given.

What does your assignment say?

I’m not sure exactly what you are asking. Do you need to write six paragraphs, and each one must have 7 sentences? If you can clarify and give more information I will try to help.
