Revising and editing are two different things. Editing means that you look at things like grammar, spelling, punctuation… the mechanical things in prose. Revision is editing the content. Consider “visioning” your essay as writing it. “Re-visioning” it should be taking a closer look at what you wrote, the ideas you’re trying to convey. Try looking at an English handbook. They’ll give you better definitions and even checklists to guide you! It got me though college!!!

Very distinctive. there is modifying in revising an essay yet no longer any incorrect way around. its fairly fairly elementary. each time your instructor, or lecturer components an project and you completely mess it up, then you definately could revise it. on the different hand, in case you think of you have controlled to respond to each and all of the activity’s standards yet nonetheless no longer happywith it, you edit. to establish no count in case your essay desires revising or modifying, attempt giving it to a chum and ask his/her trouble-free opinion approximately it. in case your buddy feels that it merits something between C+ and A-, you purely could edit it. no count if that’s something decrease than that, you may revise it. modifying is like fantastic tuning an engine in the previous race day. revising is like that motor vehicle desires an over-haul. do no longer even dream to take it to a race music. solid success.

Editing would be to go back and correct what you originally had written, and to revise would be to go back and make some updates or changes from what you had originally wrote.

Editing would be when checking for mis-spelled words and punctutation. Revising would be if you had to rewrite an paragraph or somthing like that.
