Take notes while reading or studying – for the same reason

Pay attention to the key points your instructor is making, and study them outside of class and after homework.

Do your homework, and when questions arise, ask your teacher for help.

For subjects that are more difficult for you, ask the teacher how you can improve your study skills.

Don’t be afraid to ask for help!

Form a study-group, but be sure that you actually study and don’t just goof off.
