well you can go to the store and buy a book on typing. There should be letters and all kinds of stuff that will help you. To improve your typing you need to type on a constant basis. Practice makes perfect. In the book there will be examples for you to type. You can also time yourself and see how many words you type. You should not be so hard on yourself 30- 50 wpm is pretty good but if you are trying to achieve faster and more words I would buy a typers book. You can probably find them in any book store. oh also make sure you have a comfortable place to rest your hands while typing so that you dont get carpal tunnel in your wrists. Dont push yourself so much either, the more you push the more mistakes you will make. Just relax and type. hope that helped.

I have an effective but very simple answer for you. When I was learning typing in high school, I couldn’t get the hang of it at all! Then our teacher made us tape a piece of printer paper over the keyboard and slide your hands underneath. (this was on word processors, not computers, but it works just the same.) Then just practice until you get it. It sounds silly, but guess what, I’m a great typer now. 😉

Practice Practice Practice! Its so cliche but so true. Start by looking at the keys as you type only, then go into semi-looking, and move towards not looking at all- then only practice when you are looking towards the screen. Accuracy is more important than speed. You will get faster naturally over time

Just keep on practicing.

This might seem silly, but another thing besides practicing typing would be to read more. You know the saying, “those who read well, write well.”

It is true. If you want fewer grammatical and technical errors, I suggest just to read more too.

I have an online typing tutor half way down this link below and they have a free trial download and if you wish to purchase their program it’s extremely cheap anyway. They are reputable.
