it really depends on the person. i homeschooled for a year, and it drove me nuts. if you enjoy it, keep on homeschooling. do whatever makes you happy or you will regret it. if ppl bugging you is worth more than your happiness, go back to school whatever you want to do, do it.

I think that public school is probably a better choice… The biggest reason is because at a public school you get the chance to develop your social skills a lot more. Most of the time you can tell when kids have been home schooled by the way they talk to people or how they act in groups. Also, some parents can’t give as high of a level of education as qualified teachers can. This might not be the case with your parents, but this happens a lot of the time. Plus, public school lets you join extracurriculars and participate in sports and all that fun stuff.

Surprised you’re getting so many “it depends” responses. I’m assuming you’re still young which is why you’re asking this question to begin with. I’m gonna give you a blunt with you on this one.

1)Homeschooling education varies. Depending on how qualified your tutors/parents are there’s no guarantee they’re education will be enough to adequately prepare you for a career in the future.

Yes, some public schools are horrible-but they at least provide you with sufficient standardized tests to ensure you at least get a “decent” education.

2)Probably the most obvious one, if not it should be. You’ll find when you get older that book smarts will only get you so far in the work place. Social skills will take you a long way, in fact it’s your ability to communicate which will probably get your foot in the door. Dealing with/Getting to know your classmates will help you hone those skills.

Summary:

Go back to school, there’s more to life than hitting the books and staying indoors.

School is as much about learning how to live with other people in the real world- getting up, going to work, having deadlines, being responsible to people you may not like. Important skills.

That depends. As long as your grades are either the same or better by schooling at home rather than at school. If your grades are not hurt by this decision, than home schooling, for you, is best.
