highschool gpa!!!?

i got a 3.3 cumulative gpa in my fresman year in highschool! and i wanted to do way better, but i took hard/advanced classes. is this going to affect me getting in to med school?

and do colleges look at freshman year grades as serious as sofomore and junior year grades? or am i screwed for life!?

I think they focus on your cumulative GPA. So, if you are unhappy with a 3.3, you have 3 more years to bring it up to the point where you are happy.

Your sophomore and junior year grades have much more weight than your freshman year grades. You aren’t “screwed for life.”

You want to know how it is to be screwed for life? Wait until your junior year. You’ll wonder what on earth were you complaining about for the past two years.
