A few days ago
Hi.. Last year i shoplifted 28 dollars worth of merchandise from Kohls Dept. Store in Ohio.?
But because my friend had stolen a 50 dollar bottle of perfume as well.. i was not eligible for a probation sentence. Instead I was charged with a 1st degree misdemeanor. Will i be able to get that charge expunged off my record and also if it was to be expunged would it still show up on certain background checks?

I would talk to a lawyer about getting it expunged. Court don’t just do it, you have to apply to have it happen.
