I didn’t think it was hard and here is the best part when you go back to school to train for this you will want it this time! What this means is that you will enjoy it more and understand it more because now it is not something you have to do but something you truly want to do!

Here is what I had to do for my test Science, for me that was a breeze easy 99% I never studied for that at all, Social Studies, this I did have to study for some, still I scored very well on this too with a 79% Language Arts/Reading, This I studied very much and got a 99%, Language Arts/Writing I studied this very much and got a 69% and lastly Mathematics this I studied like crazy and got a 50% on my over all grade was 3190 I needed 2250 to pass.

My test scores were

L A/W 550

L A/R 760

S S 580

S 800

M 500

So out of all of those I needed 450 or more to pass you can see I was always above 450.

It is if I remember correctly a 4 hour test two days for a total of 8 hours. You are timed on each test, if you run out of time before you turn in your paper all that you did not answer are automatically wrong. That was what hurt my math, I ran out of time for both parts and had to turn in a bunch of blank answers! So extremely work on your math, I urge you to get something like Human Calculator to help you get better, those tricks and tips helped me.

The math is broke into two parts first you can and must use a calculator. The second part you can not.

You need a lot of work with Algebra, and Geometry. Also you will do a lot of work learning essays and how to write very good ones, this is high points for essays in the GED test.

Look to your high school if they have night classes, they were free here, you will go for 6 months before you test.

Best of luck, I know you can make it!

BTW I dropped out in 11th too.
