gym class troubles?
Favorite Answer
Anyway, to your problem. what grade are you in? Does the gym class grade really count for anything?
Also, are you really trying your best to play soccer, or do you sort of give up and stand around praying for the class to be over?
Because if you are really trying and simply can’t seem to succeed enough to get at least a reasonable grade, perhaps you and/or your teacher and/or your parents could talk and find it might really make sense to take a special ed gym class. It might sound awful, but one year when I was young they found my hand-eye coordination was just terrible, and I had to have gym with the higher-level “special” kids. The teacher was nicer and had the time to try to help me improve, and best of all, there was none of the pressure from my peers nor from a jock gym coach. The status wasn’t so great but it was worth it since it was pleasant and took the burden of trying to participate in something I didn’t like and wasn’t good at in regular gym class.
Or if you want to stay in your class, talk to you teacher and tell her how hard you try, but that you just can’t do better. Maybe there’s a teacher or coach or student athelete who could take some time with you after school to improve your skills a little bit.
Would it help even to practice at home?
Good luck!!!
