Going to high school this year and..?

I was homeschooled this past year. What should I bring to the principal for him to decide if I’ll be able to go to high school this year? I was on an online schooling thing…so I have no books, much hand written paper, etc. Any advice would be great…thanks..

Assuming that you are attempting to go to the public school nearest you (or the one in your designated area) that school legally MUST provide a space for you. Public Education is a right (and a privilege) and everyone may have access despite their previous schooling. All you have to do to get IN is go through that school’s application process. I don’t know what grade you’re in but if you’re in high school and you’ve got options to choose from some complications could arise with proving the courses you’ve taken if you need them for a prerequisite. Getting a copy of your transcript should clear all of that up. Consult your state or province’s education web site.

my daughter was home school in her 11th grade she had to take one test in history plus the homeschool program she went though sent her credits to the school. so you may want to check into that . and make sure that the high school will accept them some will and some want . they might have you take a test in each subject to see what you need . sorry for not being very much help.
