I dont know if it would rise you’re gpa alot. but going to a community college when you’re a junoir will look good on your transcript and you might have a better change especially if you do good at the community college

I guess it depends on the rules in your school system. In California, you typically have to either be a) a high school graduate, b) 18 years or older, or c) be approved by the school you’re planning on going to to be exempt from the previous two requirements.

I don’t think you can raise your high school gpa by taking community college classes ’cause remember, even though it’s a community college, they’re still college classes not high school classes. But if you do get approved, I do you’ll be more attractive to the colleges having taken college classes.

Personally, I’d wait ’til I’ve completed my junior year before thinking about trying to take college classes. They’re not as easy as you think; community college or otherwise.

I’d talk to your college counselor first if I were you before making any related decisions. They’re the ones who are SUPPOSE to know the answers to these questions.
