Getting your GED? I notice in the newspaper, you need one just to?
put a application in (working at the airport). I have an adult son, who needs to get his act together. So I’m assuming this is where you start. All opinions and suggestions appreciated. Thanks

The GED is probably the easiest “test” ever. All of the formulas for the math questions are provided in the beginning of the booklet, same for the science questions.
It’s 5 parts. Reading Comprehension, Math, Science, History, and Writing. The cost varies from state to state as well as the testing dates and times. Some states require the person to sign up for pre-testing lessons.
I didn’t have to take the study courses and I passed the thing with flying colors and hadn’t been in school for ten years when I took it.

If your son hasn’t graduated high school, and is to old to go back, then a GED is the next best thing. He will need it, should he suddenly decide to go further in his education. The latter may not happen this year, but it might in ten years. He will at least be prepared.
