nursing is competiotive for the best places to work… however a college educated nurse is still gonna pull in some serious $$ and have no problem finding work

Two words: TRAVEL NURSE! You get the best of both! You can work anywhere in the U.S. (as long as you get the state license) and overseas, if you chose to do so. A lot of travel nursing jobs are about 6 weeks (or more if you choose), then you can choose a different location. Also, everything is paid for you (apartment/house, etc), you’re basically set. I dunno, personally, I think riding on a plane day-in, day-out would get a little old after awhile. Besides, you might go to a lot of different cities, but it’s not like you’re a tourist and get to see all the attractions. You usually just stay a few days at a hotel close to the airport, you don’t really get a chance to unwind a little and see everything. Good luck!

You won’t make nearly as much money as a flight attendant than you will as a nurse. There are always jobs available for nurses.

Ultimately, this is a question you’ll have to decide yourself. However, my prefference would be to stick with nursing. It pays better, it keeps your feet on the ground; and, in the event of a plane crash, you’ll be helping the survivors instead of being one of the victims. With terrorism running amok these days, I’d say that is a great incentive to pick nursing over any airline job.

well, i would choose a nurse. especially if you want to settle down later on, nursing would be more beneficial because being a flight attendant would mean going from place to place ALL the time
