Do you think I could get accepted into the University of Kentucky with…?

I’m stressing about my application to UK…

I’m have a GPA of 3.2

My ACT score is 21…but I’m taking it again on Oct. 27 & I’m taking a class to help improve it.

I’m taking AP English

I have 2 letters of reccomindation…one from my guidance counsler & one from my AP English Teacher

I’m involved in some clubs…not much comminty service though

& I’ve worked really hard on my three essays for the application.

So what do think my chances are? I’m worried mostly about the ACT score…a lady that works at the UK acceptance office told me last year UK’s average ACT score was 22-27…which means 50% got in between those scores, and 25% got below that and 25% got above that.

Hmmmm…five years ago, you would’ve had no problem getting in. Now, I’m not so sure. You probably still will, since I believe UK’s lowest ACT score acceptable is a 21, and a 3.2 GPA will probably place you within mid-range of your graduating class. But, you better take the ACT again so you can really improve the possibility of being accepted.
