Traditionally unless you are commuting, freshman are not allowed to have cars at most campuses. There are certain exceptions to this rule such as special circumstances or enough credit hours to be considered a sophomore (from AP credit or transferring college credits)

The only way to know for your campus is to contact either the counselor assigned to you or the director in charge of on-campus parking.

i visit varsity next 12 months and each college that i visited you probably didn’t wish a automobile. each thing is interior of a 10 minute walk on campus. the sole college the place a automobile could be intense high quality could be ohio state, simply by fact its truthfully a city, yet maximum scholars looked as though it would have motorcycles. The campuses are designed for all of the scholars to be waiting to stroll everywhere. you quite do not want a automobile except you progression to an off campus apartment.

those with big campuses would allow fringe parking – tts way out there away fr the faculty members. so, might as well get a bicycle as in china where everyone do so. this is to ensure orderliness and quiet on the campus as we young thingys tend to get those hot rods and fancy mustangs !!
