Even if one is a perfect speller, spellcheck is still useful for catching typos.
In Yahoo Answers, however, the spellchecker is way too slow.

Probably – they’re smart enough to know that they’re not great at everything, and to realize that it’s OK to use a tool that’s right there, easy to use, dependable, and helps them communicate more clearly.

Absolutely. Especially (this may seem a little strange) those with a penchant for languages. The more languages a polyglot knows, the more like alphabet soup their writing looks.

Yes, my grand daughter is in this category and she can just about spell her own name. Straight A’s all through grade school, college,deans list ,Mensa etc.
