CRNA: Boring job or mentally and physically challenging?

Hi there, I was wondering if there were any working CRNAs out there who could give me an idea of what the day in the life of a CRNA’s like. I’m ignorant about the specialty and I picture simply sitting in one spot doing nothing except watching vitals and pushing drugs. I’m pretty sure there’s more to it and I’m planning to shadow a CRNA to see if it’s something I would like to do especially since I’m an RN who enjoys critical thinking and mental and/or physical challenges. Any input to this question will be greatly appreciated.

intellectually challenging, yes.

vitally important, yes.

boring, maybe.

I’ve shadowed an AA sorry not a CRNA.

If you are stuck in pm&r, it might not be that bad.

decent pay, if you are into that sort of thing.
