Could somone please give me the formula or solution for the following.(stock is [email protected] pe ratio16 EPS=?

PE= price earnings ratio

EPS= earnings per sahre

Stock price 39.63

It is trading at 16 times earnings (Price/Earnings ratio).

So 39.63 divided by 16 = 2.47

So the company had $2.47 in earnings during the last fiscal year (4 reporting quarters).

Dividing the stock’s price by the PE ratio gives you the EPS.
