Can you do more than two electives in highschool?

I want to try out for the football team. It doesn’t matter if i suck or if i’m good. But i’ve already gone to one practice session w/ the marching band. It doesn’t seem reasonalbe to do both, considering that the marching band plays at halftime during football games. Which should i pick? I’m a freshman. Why should i pick the elective?

I enjoy doing both of them????’

that really all depends on you and how it fits in your schedule. I do know that marching band usually doesn’t take up as much time as football… but what are you better at? What can you see doing for a long period of time… can either one get you into college??? those are things you should think of!

Marching Band is a blast. You play at games, in competitions, sometimes on out of state trips… it does take up a lot of time… when I was in marching band, we had rehearsal every day during the fall. However, it was all worth it because it was a lot of fun, and I made lasting friendships. The band becomes a family after a while because you have to spend so much time together… Plus you could develop a talent you didn’t know you had. My freshman year I played as a hobby, and by the end of high school I knew I wanted to do it for the rest of my life. Definitely Marching Band
