Can I intercept a letter before it reaches its correct location? I don’t want my parents seeing my grades.

They’d freak if they saw my grade, it doesn’t count for credit and I’m just taking it as practice. I didn’t really try because summer courses go by way too fast. I know it’s wrong of me to hide my grade, but I will be taking the course during the school year, and being tutored during the weekends, so I think it’ll give me loads of extra practice rather than this 6 week course cramming in a whole school year. So is there anyway to intercept the letter from my parents?

Oh, the good old days of mail interception!!!! I did it and it always prolonged the inevitable. Let it get there and suck it up because you will get your punishment eventually. Better sooner than later. And also, when I did I got punished more severely because my parents know that it is very unlikely for things to just “get lost in the mail”.

If you are a college student then a university can’t send grades to your parents regardless of your age or dependent status. if you are in high school and are 18, then they also can’t send your grades to your parents legally. If you are in high school and under the age of 18 then you are out of luck unless you do as an above poster mentioned and monitor when the postman delivers the mail and intercept it from before your parents see it. If you think they are sending the educational history illegally and want to tell them not to, go to the website I listed below and review the material and then take it to your school and discuss with them.

Why don’t you just monitor when the mailman delivers the mail and then just steal the letter out of the box? Of course that’s not going to prevent your parents from wondering what your grades are and calling the school to find out.

well there’s something anyone can logically think of which is getting the mail before your parents!! and just take the letter and i dont know burn it or something like that… um but if you want to try something else i will suggest you not to do it because you can get in a lot of trouble and trust me i think your parents will have enough with your grades… I mean I understand but if anyways they get the letter, just talk to them and explain them that you can still take that class and pass it!! and that your going to put a lot of effort in it!! AND ALSO THAT IS IMPOSIBLE TO LEARN SOMETHING IN 4 WEEKS!!

oh so cant you get the mail before your aunt?? or talk to your aunt!! Like i told you I understand I’m 17 and I just graduated but although i wanted to do that sometimes, i didnt do it because I knew that my mother would understand.

Don’t be such a wimp. Face up to your responsibilities. Tell your folks what you’ve just told us, and see if they believe you.
