As another idea – the local library may be willing to mail books to your house as long as you have a library card.
Good Luck!
There are some e-books online that are published under the what’s it called, commons act, that is, it’s free to use. There are also many manga online (japanese comics, many of which are translated into english) but they may be hard to find.
Libraries are a great solution. If your town has a bus system I totally bet there’s a stop at the library. If you have friends that are old enough to drive, suggest going to one of those bookstores with a cafe, it’s fun to hang out and you can pick up enough books to last you till the next time you can convince them to drive you there π
If you have any neighbors your age or a little older or just plain friendly, ask around and you may find people interested in just GIVING you books. I know if someone I knew asked for something to read they’d get at least three really good books and more star trek novels than they could shake a stick at. Of course you could also borrow books from friends and neighbors.
Finally there may be some books around the house worth reading. These days there are less and less homes with a book collection but it was worth suggesting.
Finally if there are any thrift stores/goodwills etc near you, they always have a small book collection and it’ll all be supercheap.
Good luck
