Do you think this was a good reason to stay home?

My mom said my head was stuffy(she could hear it in my voice), I have a runny/stuffy nose, and also a cough :/

Most people go to school, despite coughs and stuffy noses.

Of course, I was one of the students who would look for any excuse to not go to school. Like, cramps…or being too tired.

Looking back, I regret it, because it became a bad habit and I missed tons of school and got behind in my work. I certainly learned my lesson!

If you seriously don’t feel well, then yes…It’s a good excuse. Just don’t abuse the situation, like some dumb people. (Like me. lol)

It’s not as iron clad a reason as having a fever or vomiting, but I’m glad you stayed home. Like other people said you go to school with a cold, everyone else gets infected. We really need to change how we look at taking the day off in this country for being ill.

Moms usually know when your sick before you do. And it sounds like a really good reason to stay home.

Yes. Unless you are prone to seasonal allergies at this time of year I think it is good that you stayed home. I almost always get sick because of people who come to school or work while they are sick.
