question
36 ÷ 2
—- —
48 ÷ 2
so answer to get to lowest terms of 36/47 is 2/2
it doesn’t really make sense can you help me??
Favorite Answer
48/2 = 24
18/24 (lowest term divide both by 6) = 3/4
48 ÷ 2 =24
18÷2 = 9
24÷ 2 = 12
9÷3 = 3
12÷ 3 = 4
the lowest fraction is 3/4
/2 /3 /2
Therefore, an easy way to get 36 in its lowest terms is to find its greatest common factor=the largest # it can be divided by. to find the greatest common factor think well 36/2=18, and if 36/18=2 that must be its greatest common factor(18) and 2 must be the lowest term for 36.
Hope that helps!! ^_^
Do 36/2 and 48/2 first.
It comes out as 18 ÷ 24
18/24 = 0.75
or, 18/24 = 3/4
48 ÷ 2= 24
18/24=9/12=3/4
3/4 is your answer
48/2=24/1 so…
18/24=3/4
