Well, it seems like there are a lot of different answers here, so I’ll provide the correct answer and explain.

If 20 students take music and 26 take art, then you have a total of 46 students. If 2 of those students take both, that means they are being counted twice in that figure of 46 students, so there are actually 44 different students. 60 – 44 = 16

Add: 20+ 26+2=48; then,

60-48=12 these are the students not enrolled in either music or art.

Well, you have 60 students.

20 take music, 26 take art and 2 take both. Add up these numbers together:

20 + 26 + 2 = 48

Now, to get the number not involved in any, simply take 48 from 60.

60 – 48 = 12

12 are not enrolled.

Just add 20, 26, and 2 together then subtract that from 60.

It looks like this:

60-(20+26+2)=

It depends if the 2 that take music and art are already included in the other 2 catagories. If they are then the answer would be 14, if not the answer would be 12.

It could be a trick question

the answer would be 14 because the 2 are already enrolled in music and art.
