Who knows the formula for pythagorean theorem??
Favorite Answer
…|\
.a|..\ h
…|__\
…..b
h^2 = a^2 + b^2
h = hypotenuse of the triangle
a = length of one side or the triangle
b = length of the second side of a triangle
or
h = sqrt(a^2 + b^2)
stated, “the length of the hypotenuse of a right triangle equals the square root of the sums of the squares of the sides.”
Hope that helps.
The formula is: a2* + b2* = c2*
* 2= squared for example: a2 = a SQUARED
P.S. Try this website: www. mathforum.org
where c is the hypotenuse of a right-angled triangle with the other two sides a and b.
c squared will be the hypotenuse sqaured, A and B are the two legs.
This is the formula I have my students learn
