7/16 is larger.

Compare to 3/8 by restating eighths into 1/16ths

i.e. to restate 3/8 as 16th needs you to multiply the denominator and numerator by 2 = 6/16

7/16 is larger than 6/16, right?

7/16 is larger.

u have to change the denominator from 8 to 16

by multiplying 2 to 8 and 3.

which gives you 6/16.

What I did is got a common denominator in 16. To get 3/8 I had to multiply by 2 and get 6/16. Therefore the answer is 7/16 is bigger

If you multiply 3/8 by two, you get 6/16, which now has the same denominator as 7/16

7/16 is greater than 6/16, so 7/16 is greater than 3/8

7/16 is larger. Multiply 3/8 by 2/2 to get both having the same common denominator, 6/16. then the numerator will tell you what you need to know.

To compare two fractions, you need to get the denominators the same

3/8 = (3×2)/(8×2) = 6/16

is 7/16 larger or small than 6/16?

if you have a cake cut into 16 pieces, would severn pieces be more than 6?

Ur Question
well when you bring the two fractions to a common denominator which is 32 you get 14/32 and 12/32 so that means that 7/16 is the larger of the two
