Each of the aforementioned philosophical positions are closely associated with a specific period and aesthetic style. In this essay you will choose two works of art, each from a different discipline (i.e. painting and architecture, music and sculpture, film and novel, etc.), and analyze the works of art to reveal how each work of art adheres to the aesthetic values of the given philosophy. The essay should form conclusions about how the philosophy influenced the arts of the period.
