my science homework about microscope!!!?

y do we need 2 focus the low-power objective lens first on the compound microscope? HELP??

You have a much larger field of view in the low power objective lens, so it’s easier to find your object. From there you can zoom in with larger lenses, but if you start on a higher power, you are literally looking for a needle in a haystack, as the field of view will only be a few micrometers wide.

Hope that helps, and I strongly suggest you put that in your own words (1Micrometer=1000mm)

well you want to get it focused with the coarse knob. once you switch it you cant use the coarse because it may hit the lens and break the glass, so you only use the fine adjustent knob. same with high power. pay attention in class and you would have known that!
