Where should I start my thesis in my introduction paragraph? Essay help?
I never really knew where a good place is in my introduction to place my thesis statement. Should it be the very first sentence or should I put it in the middle or end of my introduction paragraph? Or does it even matter as long as I have a thesis somewhere in my intro paragraph?

I find that this is how the layout of my opening normally goes..
Catch: Something that will grab the reader’s attention and make him/her want to read your paper
Thesis Statement: You know what that is
Backup: Basic facts that backup your thesis statement. you will go deeper into those facts later in your paper.
I suppose your thesis can be at the end, you know leading up to the statement. I think it works better to state your thesis then back it up.
Good luck with your paper and i hope this helps!

Your entire introductory paragraph should sensibly lead up to your thesis statement. The best place for the statement is at the end of that paragraph. This is the format which seems to provide the most clarity to the reader.

The thesis statement should definitely be at the end of the introductory paragraph
