Whatis the difference between an inequality, an expression, and an equation?

inequalities have < > signs meaning they do not necessarily only have one answer althought it can. An expression does not an an = meaning u can only simplify it. An equation has an = meaning you can solve.

an expression would be two or more variables that do not equal anything, like the expresson 3x+y or y-x. an inequality would be two variables or numbers separated by an inequality sign, like x<5 or 4>m. an equaiton would be an expression that equals something, like 3x+2=17 or 5x-2=18.
