hey people!well i need some help on my algebra homework, think any of yall can help?the question is:Lake travis will rise 2 feet,if it rains 15 inches in the water shed:what are the independent and dependent variables?what is the domain and what is the range?

The dependent variable is the height of water in the lake (the result).

The domain contains all the values possible for the independent variable. For rainfall, you may consider it to be [0, infinity), but for practical purposes such as graphing you may decide to limit the range.

The range contains all the values possible for the dependent variable. For the depth of water, it is [0, depth of the lake], though again, flooding may occur to a higher level.
