D: to help get America through the Great Depression. The Works Progress Administration borrowed money from banks and paid citizens for public works projects. My father worked for the WPA in Carbon County, Utah building campgrounds.

Do you know what WPA stands for? That gives you a huge clue as to what Roosevelt was trying to achieve. You can delete a couple of your answers just on basic history – Roosevelt wasn’t around during the Cold War.
