What’s a good way to memorize…?
Ok, well I have to memorize a large amount of vocabulary words like: ambigous, arduous, belligerent, charisma, etc.
And after a while, they all sorta look the same lol
And one I memorize them, I tend to get mixed up with them or even forget them a couple days later…
So, what’s a good method to memorize them so that I’ll know them for life, or for at least a long time??
Thank you!

Flashcards would be your best bet. Just take a bunch of 3 x 5 notecards, write the word on one side and the definition on the other. 2-3 times a day, spend about 5-10 minutes flipping through and quizzing yourself on them. I’ve done this with everything from my 9yo’s vocab words to medical terminology and foreign languages…and while it might seem kind of boring, it works like a charm π

Well, sometimes when I have to memorize a long list of stuff, I make up a song with everything it in. =) Kinda like the ABC song you know? Learn it well and you’ll remember it for life.
Repitition helps. Keep singing to yourself. But when you get sick of it, take a break, and then go back later and repeat-

I know your pain π Good suggestions here already. You might also try putting them into sentences. Try to make the sentences funny or emotional; things seem to stick better that way.
