ok so i had to write a essay about what i am good at and i did i chose acting so now my teacher said that we have to demonstrate so i dont know what to do how am i suppose to demonstrate acting i was going to sing but it didnt work out

Memorize a short speech from a play or write your own short one-person skit to act out. For example: act out talking on the phone with someone who doesn’t understand what you’re trying to tell them. Or, act out getting ready for school in the morning.

Well, just act. It’s simple really because we all acted when we were younger in all those games of pretend. You could go back to that time and demonstrate the acting described in your essay.
You could also, as mentioned before, take an excerpt of a famous book or play and act that excerpt out. Problem is with that though is that there are more different roles. If you’d like a challenge then I suggest trying to act out the introduction to Romeo and Juliette by William Shakespear.

Choose an easy scene in any well known play such as Shakespears’ The Merchant of Venice , or the Trial scene from Dickens’s A Tale of Two Cities .

Do some scene that you have done in the past. What roles have you done? Do a piece from one of them. I am sure your teacher expects only minute or two. If you can’t think of one you have already done, prepare something new from a play that you are familiar with. How about something from West Side Story?

hmm, how bout serching for an excerpt from some shakespeare or another playwrite. Then act it out in front of class, mayb get a partner, it wont be easy doing it alone
