What makes one source more trustworthy or credible than another? What questions do you ask when evaluating?

As for how to evaluate what sources you’re looking at you should ask the following:
1. what is the purpose? (is the source trying to persuade you to adopt their idea/belief)
2. Where does it come from? (see above)
3. Who is the intended audience of the source? (check out vocabulary, writing style)
4. When was it produced? (see above).
5. What do others say about it? (was it recommended by others)
