What is the proper way to cite and internet and book source?

On the seperate works cited page and in the text in parentheses?? An example would be good.

Here’s an example of Harvard referencing system:

In the text after you have referred to the particular book put the author and year and if necessary page number in brackets. Eg. (Seedhouse, 1997). Then in the references at the end of the document you need the author, year, name of book, place of publishing and publishers. Eg. Seedhouse, D (1997) Advertising promotion: philosophy, prejudice and practice. Chichester, John Wiley.

For websites you need to give the full address of the site along with the date that it was accessed in the referencing section.
