None of the above. The first thing I would do is create a folder in your “favorites” to bookmark websites that contain information, pictures, facts…whatever you need to complete your assignment. That way you have a starting point to begin writing your assignment. It will also provide you with an easy reference to use when compiling your bibliography.

Once you have done that, you can begin writing your assignment, but there’s nowhere that it says that you have to write it all at once. (unless of course it’s an assignment that you’re doing in class that has to be finished before the class ends). When you are working on your assignment, of course you will want to periodically save it to your hard drive or to a disc and then you can name the document.

As for visualizing getting a good grade, I suppose that’s subjective. Just visualizing it won’t produce results……putting your nose to the grindstone and working hard is the only way to accomplish that.

This all depends on how you write best. I personally give the document a name first and then just start to write. As long as what you are writing isn’t timed, just write whatever comes to your mind. After you have expressed all of the ideas you would like to include, you can reorganize your thoughts into an essay or writing assignment. This way you aren’t straining your brain to think about information or sitting for a long time trying to figure out how to write and organize at the same time. If you get distracted easily, feel free to take a break every once in awhile just make sure that you aren’t gone from the computer for more than about twenty minutes because then you tend to lose your train of thought. A good grade will only result from a good piece of writing and this takes quite a lot of effort. If you put your thoughts down and then reorganize and refresh the paper you should do just fine!
