What is the antiderivative of -cos x? I can’t find the antiderivative of any negative trigonometric functions.

Is there some kind of special rule when it comes to negatives? Thank you!

if by antiderivative you mean that -cosx is the derivative of ____ then the “antiderivative” is -sinx

There isn’t a special rule just that the – will carry down. For example, the derivative of -2x is -2. The negative stays with the equation.

Now, if your question were the antiderivative of -sinx that is cosx because cosx has a negative derivative..

Just stuff you need to memorize.
