Renaissance education mixed all disciplines into a total life experience; History of sculpture may be accompanied by art creation and followed by the study of anatomy which leads to psychology, through architecture, and then to sculpting itself. The student defines their educational needs by their desire to answer questions. The student follows these answers with new questions on a now higher level. Learning is an enjoyable, all day, all life, self directed endeavor.

Joy of discovery and satisfaction from personal growth impels further research. Innovative action adds substance to knowledge gained, and also raises more questions. The broader the learning the more aware a student becomes of their lack of an encompassing knowledge. Education is thus pushed beyond style and substance toward wisdom and accomplishment. The milestones of success are personally defined by each student in relation to their individual goals, this act alone helps return pleasure to the learning experience.

if something is popout or has glitter or beads or something on it besides paper and writing, it looks like more effort went into it. also make the background have something to do with the project so its not just something that holds together all your research. maybe have some colors that represent some noble patrons, a faint outline of a popular book (*cough *bible) etc. thats asthetics. you could also just make sure two cover individual social class distinctions, discussing what the difference between each class is. if theres only rich and poor, it could be helpful to describe WHY there are so few. talk about power of church versus the draw of the church. flatter your teacher by throwing in the expression, “noble profession of teaching,” (if it applies) and a smile goes a long way. education in the time wasnt just church education either. there was specific work training (apprentices or whatever) but that still counts as education. talk about attitudes of those with great educations toward those without and the special positions held by the educated, or, under a spoils system, if they were ever cheated out by royalty.
