What is Chaucer’s message in the Canterbury Tales?
I read the Nun’s Priest Tale and the Pardoner’s Tale and I want to know what message Chaucer was trying to convey.

Pardoner’s tale: The pardoner is a dishonest/greedy man. His tale involves 3 thieves who kill each other over a treasure of some sort. This shows that there is no honor among thieves and that misdeeds come back to hurt you (bad karma in a way). The pardoner is much like the 3 thieves.
