What does he mean?
Burton Raffel, a translator of Beowulf remarks that “of all the many-sided excellences” of the poem, one of the most satisfying “is the poet’s insight into people.” I have to do an essay on whether if I agree with him but i just want to know what he said in a simple way.

he basically said that there are many good things about ‘beowulf’ but the best thing is how well the poet knew the nature of people.
by nature of people, he could mean, aspects of bravery, honor, etc.
