A school project for a 5year old do not require a lot. Once you have decided on a location/region, then find out when the rainy season is. Perhaps then you can work out with the kid, the water cycle (as well as who needs this water or where it goes) and then some environment issues -such as what happens if too much rain, and vice versa. What are the impact of these events?
