To wash baby’s body, place the baby gently in the tub, maintain support of the baby with one hand and using the soap or cleansing lotion, lightly form a soapy lather with your other hand. Use soapy hand to wash baby’s body, including folds and creases. Rinse off the soap, remove baby from tub and lay on a towel placed on a flat surface. Gently pat baby’s skin dry, including the folds and creases.

Most babies have very soft skin which can easily “fold” or “crease” and looks like an elephant skin. it can be on any part of the body including the hands and legs.
