the answer is frog. turtles are reptiles. they’re not sort of amphibians, they’re reptiles. same with snakes and crocodiles. i don’t see how people could even think snakes and crocodiles could be amphibians..

the difference? they’re both cold-blooded and rely on external surroundings for warmth (that’s why they bask). really, reptiles have thicker skin, don’t need to eat as much, can give live birth, don’t use water to lay eggs. amphibians can lay eggs in water and on land, need to eat more and they use the food they eat to add warmth (they ‘burn’ it.. in a sence) and their skin is thinner and need to absorb water, reptiles do not.

some turtles do have gills by their anus, but that doesn’t make them ‘more’ of an amphibian…

but the answer is frog.

The answer is a frog. yea, a turtle is a amphbian, but its not as much as a frog. snake, only some snakes are amphibaious. not all. a crodilw is more of a reptile.

and then, think about it. when you say reptile, you thinks of a lizard. when you say amphibian, you think of a frog. (or something of the like)

As all lizards are reptiles, then so too are all frogs amphibians.

Conversely, all turtles, all snakes and all crocodiles are NOT amphibians.

turtle or frog… crocodiles don’t have gills they just hold their breath like dolphins…

snakes, well… I’m not sure but I don’t think a sea snake is an amphibian…

turtles I don’t think have gills…

but I’m not sure if a frog’s a lizard…

maybe it is =/

Then why don’t you read your school book or pay attention in class instead of asking for the answer here ? I swear kids get lazier every minute.

reptile is a broad description, includes all of the animals you have listed.

Have you excluded “e. All of the above?”
