the easy ones are always the electric circuits. hook up a battery to a switch and a lightbulb and close the switch and WOW.

I don’t know what grade you’re in, but my nephew did this for a 6th grade science project. You take 2 different types of bread, 2 slices each (white and wheat is what he used), and put 1 piece of white in a brown bag, and 1 piece of wheat in a separate brown bag. Close up both bags so that no light gets in. then on a paper towel, put the remaining 2 pieces of bread out on the counter. The object is to see which type of bread will get moldy first (white or wheat, and in darkness or light). check on each slice of bread every 12 hours and either take a picture using a digital camera, or document your findings. My daughter once created a cloud as her experiment. It was quite easy …..put a jar of water in the microwave and get it *really* hot. Put a metal pie tin in the freezer for a while. When you are ready, put the pie tin on top of the hot water jar……a cloud is born (aka fog). Sorry, but you’ll have to come out with your own hypothesis… 🙂
