To do my homework or not to?

I thought that was their job? Your there long enough.
That being said, when I was in college, I lived next door to a really rowdy, fun bunch of guys who were always coming over and inviting me to come over and hang out or go to their parties. My coursework was really demanding and it killed me to say no. KILLED ME.
So I really had to do this. I played what I referred to as the consequences game. I would sit there and figure out what would happen exactly if I went over there: I would fail a quiz, or miss a nights sleep cramming, or go from an A to a C (if it was a major exam). I would imagine going home and telling my parents my grade or just seeing it on the exam paper when they were handed back and that feeling in the pit of my stomach when I am unhappy with myself….
Sitting and doing this for about five minutes was really motivating for me and I am about the worst procrastinator going.
I hope this helps. Now get off the computer and do your work and then when you’re done, you can enjoy what you’re doing without worrying the whole time. Plus if you aren’t rushing and are calm you might enjoy what you are learning. (It sometimes works that way!!)
Yes, I think you should do it. It’ll take a huge weight off your mind, and who knows, you might even learn something :-)))
