this is a really simple thing, but…….?
i’m going to try to grow salt crystals, and i was wondering – how do you make the sponge (which will be the surface for the crystals) stick to the bottom of the container? it floats up, and since it’s got to be constantly submerged in water, i can’t stick it on with tape or whatever.

Glue the sponge to something that won’t float… maybe a small rock? paper weight? that way you don’t have to glye anything to your bowl.

You could use superglue and let it dry before adding the solution or you could try gorilla tape (kind of like duct tape but stronger).
Just my opinion…

Try hot glue, or a super glue… not elmers cuz its water soluble. Any kind of glue that doesn’t wash off with water should work.
