well, this wont help but it depend on what kind of engineering profession such as (accounting, automotive, clergy, banking, and etc.) it also depends on where you live for example, a base medium salary for accountant I is about 35k in Houston, Texas not to mention what kind of degree. A player turning pro for example in an NBA and just a beginner the max they get pay is $442,114 and this is just 2007-2008 season. If it their first year, the annual pay is up to 13+ million. See the big difference? To get in engineering profession is pretty easy all it take is learning and do what you got to do. But being in PROs for athletes .. there are very less chance that you could be the next. You have to have great technique and all that stuff.
