Sum of Arithmetic Series Help!?
I cannot figure out this question:

find the sum of the first fifteen terms of an arithmetic series if the middle term is four.

i’ve tried several different methods but i keep getting strange answers that just seem wrong.
your help is much appreciated.

What have you tried? I’m wondering what sorts of weird answers you’re getting. In mine, all the weirdness subtracts out.
If the 8th term is 4, and the difference between consecutive terms is c, what is the 7th term? The 9th? Does this help you focus on a small enough portion to get the answer?
