Study tips that actually work?
What do YOU do that helps you read faster or remember what you have read easily. I always under line and high light and it takes me forever to read and take notes at the same time, if I just read it takes me equal amounts of time to go back and write notes on what I highlighted. What do you do that works?!

I had the same problem. What I do now is I choose sections of text and speed read them and then go back and take my notes. That way I know what is important before I take notes. Usually if it is tough reading with long paragraphs I do it after every paragraph, if it is divided into sections of a page or two I do it to that. It works well with english to do it by chapter. You’ve got ot see what works for you but its worth a try.

I don’t know if this would help you, but I read the whole book. Then I go back and take notes on parts that I think are important.
Sometimes I sticky note pages, while I am reading, that I think I could take some good notes on later.
